The Meaning of Janchi

Searching for depth in a noisy world.

Aesthetic Korean Janchi table setting

잔치 (Janchi)

In Korean, Janchi simply means "party" or "feast." But historically, a Janchi was never just about the food on the table. It was a sacred gathering to acknowledge the passing of time—a child's first birthday (Dol), a wedding, or a 60th birthday (Hwangap).

Our Motive

We noticed that modern celebrations often feel transactional. The aesthetics are carbon-copied, and the soul is often lost in logistics.

We built Janchi to bring "Jeong" (connection) back to the party. Whether it is a small, intimate gathering or a grand celebration, we are here to make the journey effortless. We curate vendors who understand that thoughtful details speak louder than excess, allowing you to simply be present.
